A challenge led me to Aphrodite as this Greek Goddess
had everything, especially her girdle, which all her friends
would borrow, because whoever wore that girdle attracted
every male within walking distance.

In One Ear and Out the Other - 12.5" x 15"

My dear husband quit paying attention to what I wanted
him to do, and I made this to remind both of us. 
His momentary return to age 15.

Another new book and a nine patch; perhaps an overload of yellow. 
Must have been eliminating an unusual abundance.

 

The Popcorn Series

This technique captured my eye in another new book and immediately had me creating a shameful number
of small pieces.  Now and then I still drag out a collection of hand-dyes, replace a blade in the rotary cutter
and have a grand time.  I teach this class along with other free rotary cutting techniques.

This was just plain fun from start to finish. 
I spent a lot of time with the snake and it’s possible the photo doesn’t catch all the embellishing on it.  The piece was refused by the challenge as "not polite enough".
